On December 7th, we hosted our annual Makers Market, and what an amazing milestone it was! In just one year, we grew from 15 vendors in 2023 to an astonishing 32 vendors in 2024. This growth means the world to us—it shows that more talented artisans and makers believe in our vision and trust us to create a welcoming space where they can showcase their incredible work.

Why We Became the Makers Market

You may have noticed that we made a small but meaningful change—shifting from the Art Market to the Makers Market. This decision was inspired by a renewed focus on vendors who craft their work from start to finish—those who mold, sew, bead, bake, and create with their own hands. With our 32 talented vendors, we truly embodied this vision, and we’re excited to continue this tradition moving forward.

A Warm & Welcoming Experience

Beyond the amazing vendors, the concession stand was a big hit! Guests enjoyed warm taco buns, fruit tarts, hot soup, coffee, and hot chocolate, making for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Shoppers browsed, then gathered around communal tables to eat, chat, and enjoy each other’s company—bringing a real sense of community to the event.

Holiday Music & A Special Raffle

We were also lucky to have the wonderful Nathan Davis provide holiday music for part of the day. With his talented voice and acoustic guitar, he serenaded the entire space, walking through the market like a wandering minstrel, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.

Adding to the excitement, we held a raffle for three prize baskets, each packed with beautiful trinkets and handmade goods generously donated by our vendors. We are incredibly thankful for their kindness and the joy it brought to our attendees.

Looking Ahead to 2025

With an amazing 2024 behind us, we’re already planning for an even bigger and better Makers Market in 2025. Interested in being a part of it? Check out our 2025 Makers Market page to register as a vendor and join this growing tradition!

Thank you to everyone who made this event so special. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
