On June 15, 2013, the Heritage Community Association celebrated the work of long-time HCA Executive Director Leila Francis at a barbecue at the home of HCA Board Member Dale Delainey.

In February 2013, Leila left HCA to begin a new position with First Nations University. She had been with HCA for nearly 12 years, a commitment that benefited the entire community.

Friends, family, and co-workers gathered to share a meal and stories of Leila over her years at HCA. The HCA Board presented her with a plaque and a gift, and while the weather did not cooperate, the rain failed to dampen spirits.

Thank you, Leila, for your many years of service. The Heritage community will miss you!
